The first international congress on clinical hypnosis and related sciences was held on April 26-28, 2012 in Mashhad-IRAN. More than 800 specialists participated in this congress. The congress was organised by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) with cooperation of International Society of Hypnosis (ISH), Iranian Scientific Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ISSCH), Razi International Association of Medicine and Psychotherapy (Germany), TOLMAN Cognitive therapy Institute (Italy) and EMDR Institute (Italy).

Live dental surgery by hypnosis was one of the most attractive parts of this congress. The operation was shown on a big screen simultaneously.
